Some questions that our existing customers have asked, and other information that you may find useful to know.

Q. How often should my carpet be cleaned ?

It can be as little or as often as you like. There are many factors to considered such as - number of occupants in the household, whether or not you have pets, the type of carpet and the level / type of usage the carpet recieves. In the meantime, vacuuming the carpet typically removes between 70% and 80% of loose soil within the carpet. It helps to maintain the appearance of the carpet as well as remove many abrasive particles from the carpet which can shorten its' life.

Q. Do you move furniture ?

We will move furniture such as chairs, sofas and tables. However, we will not move furniture that contains ornaments for fear of breakages.

Q. Could my carpet shrink ?

No - your carpet does not become wet enough for there to be a danger of shrinkage. Q. How long will my carpet take to dry ?

For domestic carpets, in almost all cases your carpet will be dry within half an hour of being cleaned. Since commercial carpets tend to be more heavily soiled than domestic ones, both the cleaning process and the drying process take longer. Even so, the majority of commercial carpets will be dry within an hour.

Q. How effective is your system for removing stains ?

Our system produces excellent results on the most common stains such as those produced by mud, food and drink For other types of stain, we have a range of 'specialist' stain removers which are used before we utilise the Dry Fusion system. Unfortunately some stains can actually weaken the dye in the carpet, causing the colour in the dye to run. If this happens, then the 'stain' is permanent. The chances of removing a stain are also reduced if someone has already tried to remove it - sometimes even water on its own can set a stain into a carpet.

Q. Can you remove odours from my carpet ? Yes - carpets are deodorized during the cleaning process.
